Hazardous environments can include spray booths, battery room, fume cabinets, oil and gas applications, mining applications and many more.

Where a hazardous location is identified, Markair is able to provide expert guidance and a solution based on the individual requirements of the job. We can manufacture duct mounted fans in mild steel and stainless steel, utilising copper rubbing rings or non ferrous, PAG Anti Spark blades. Our duct mounted fans can be built to specification in sizes ranging from 300mm to 1200mm.

Markair can supply Ex’e’ and Ex’d’ rated motors individually or as part of a complete assembly, as well as anti-spark and non ferrous axial propellers.

Furthermore, we can build many of our MVA Series and Bingo Blowers with copper housings to ensure no sparks arise during operation.

Markair also stock a range of single phase wall mounted and duct mounted Ex’d’ rated fans up to 630mm diameter.
